Carve the Tail and Break the Head

The Purple Magna Orb is a 7-Star rarity monster drop, which means it can only be dropped from 7-Star quests, and higher. Therefore, the Low-Rank 3-Star version of the Magnamalo will not reward players with this exclusive Orb.

The Purple Orb is found in a small chamber beneath the ruins of the Zwaardsrust Region. A troubadour in the nearby Warrior's Rest Inn sings a song that hints at the orb's location. The treasure chest with the orb is behind a red locked door, meaning the party must obtain the Magic key in Phnom Nonh first.

While there is only a 16% chance of being awarded a Magna Ghostprism for defeating Magnamalo, the Ghostprisms are a fairly common drop should players notice a shiny drop from Magnamalo. When picking up a drop, it is most likely to be a Wyvern Tear or a Magna Ghostprism.
